Today, housing in Charlottesville isn’t working for far too many in our community. Zoning laws determine how real property can and cannot be used in certain geographic areas. New zoning options outlined in Cville Plans Together Zoning can make our city housing more attainable.

Tell City Council to support Cville Plans Together Zoning - a comprehensive, community-driven strategy that will:

  • Help our neighborhoods by increasing the variety of housing types available for rental and ownership
  • Increase the supply of housing, which in turn will positively impact housing affordability
  • Improve the overall quality of life in our city by providing greater access to more housing for renters
  • Stimulate the local economy by attracting businesses with a workforce that can live closer to their jobs
